End of Term 6

Dear All,

I would like to thank all pupils, staff, parents and governors for ensuring we had such a positive Term 5. There were only 22 school days but we managed to achieve so much. There were visits to the Forest of Dean, meeting Jamie Oliver, DT Week and of course, the Year 6 SATs. So many pupils have shown such exemplary attitudes to their learning and have represented the school so proudly. This has only been possible thanks to the continued ongoing support of our whole learning community. Once again we have shown we live up to our Core Values of Partnership, Inclusion and Excellence.

Have a great holiday next week. We look forward to welcoming children back to Cabot on Tuesday 3rd of June for what I have no doubt will be a fantastic Term 6.

Best Wishes,

Mr Burton

Meeting Jamie Oliver

Dear Parents,

Four pupils from our School Council went to meet Jamie Oliver at his restaurant on Park Street. The children were given a tour around the restaurant, tasted some produce, ordered and ate a meal and then made pasta with Jamie! We were all very well looked after. Next week the rest of the School Council will go to the restaurant to take part in Jamie's Food Revolution Day. More details of the event can be found here:

We are very grateful to Jamie, Emily and all the staff who made us feel very welcome and looked after us so well.
