KS2 Sports Day

Thank you Miss Huish for organising our best Sports Day ever.  The children have loved competing in all the events. I know the staff have really enjoyed it too!  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the Teachers vs LSA but I am quite sure the Teachers' team won....

Bristol 10k

Dear All,
Mr Burton and Mrs Redwood will be running the Bristol 10k on Sunday 31st May.  This year we are raising money for Angels Welly Beat schools challenge.  It is a charity that supports bringing education to disadvantaged children in Africa.  It is also a charity that is supported by And Day (from BBCs Dinosaur Adventures).  If you would like to make a donation you can do so by visiting the website:

If you are in Bristol centre on Sunday the 31st please look out for us and cheer us on.  All support is very welcome.

Best wishes,

Mr Burton

KS2 SATs - over!

Doughnut Day!

The Key Stage 2 SATs finished yesterday.  All the Year 6 pupils made a fantastic effort this week. School opened at 8am for breakfast club and many children were still here at 4.15 attending their homework clubs.  We are very proud of the effort they put in and they all deserved their Special SATs Doughnut treat.  The final challenge for them was to eat the whole doughnut without licking their lips.

KS2 SATs next week

Good luck Year 6!

Next week is a very important week for our Year 6 pupils.  They will be taking their end of Key Stage 2 tests.  They are fantastic learners who have been well taught throughout their time at Cabot.  They have been particularly well prepared over the last few months by the Year 6 team, led by Mr Ross and Miss Huish and we know they are ready to do their best.

There will be a breakfast club for Year 6 pupils at 8am every morning before the tests.  Staff from across the school will be helping to run this and show their support for our oldest pupils.  There is no charge for this and we hope all will attend.

Make sure you have plenty of rest over the weekend and we will see you on Monday ready to do your best!

Don't forget, special SATs' doughnuts for everyone on Thursday afternoon.
