Eid Mubarak

We had a very celebratory day wearing our special occasion clothes.  It was great to hear how our Muslim families had been celebrating Eid.  There were some very smartly dressed children in school today.

Best wishes,

What's cooking at Cabot?

Cabot pupils are making good use of our new Food Technology Resources.  With help from Mrs Manka our Year 3 and Year 4 children have been making Mexican Chili Wraps.  They have learnt about the importance of following recipes carefully and how to prepare and make nutritious and delicious meals.  The tasting part has been lots of fun too!

What's new this year?

Dear Parents,

I am very pleased to be able to tell you we have even more new stimulating and exciting learning areas for you children this year.

Our interactive science area was completed over the Summer break and is now ready for use.  There is an interactive water wall and a pond.  Children from all classes will be able to use this area from term 1.  There will also be a Nature club running at lunchtimes where children can spend more time investigating the flora and fauna in this area.

E
We also have a brand new spacious children's cooking area, right next to our courtyard garden.  Each class will get to use these facilities with Ms Manke.   We look forward to seeing, and tasting, the wonderful creations your children come up with.  We have some tasty looking apples growing in the courtyard at the moment.  I'm hoping for some homegrown apple crumble sometime this Autumn,

Best Wishes
