Visit from our Lord Mayor

We were honoured to have a visit from the Lord Mayor of Bristol yesterday.  Councillor Clare Campion-Smith came to see the great work we are doing to promote learning in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects.  We had plenty to show her!  We were very proud to share with her our recent bridge building project; meet our Engineering Club; see what we learn in  computer coding lessons and try out our Science garden.  This visit was part of the Lord Mayor's support for the 'Girls Can Make it' launched today.  You might see more about this on the local news or you can click the link below to find out more.

Book Week Celebrations

A very special guest has just visited our school to help celebrate Book Week.  Postman Pat stopped by to listen to some readers.  He also took some time to say hi to children across the school.  He told me he was very grateful to our Reception class for showing him how to have fun on a scooter.
