Sports' Day (Key Stage 2)

I think we can quite confidently say we have just had our best ever Sports' Day.  We had a fantastic range of sports for pupils to compete in, ranging from javelin and discus to sprints and old favourites like the sack race. The events finished with a fantastic Tug of War finale in the Sports Hall. There was an adults event too, but I'm afraid I don't have any pictures of that. I can assure you it was very competitive.

Thank you so much to all the parents that came to support on the day.

It's Carnival on Saturday and as always, Cabot Primary School will be taking part. The costumes are ready and the children have been practising their dance (as have some teachers!) We look forward to seeing you at this fantastic event hosted by our St Paul's Community. Let's hope for good weather.

Summer Fair

Thank you to everyone who helped prepare, run a stall or join in the happy fun of the fair on Friday. We all had such a great time in the sun. Here are just a few pictures. Look out for more in the news section of the website later this week.

Visit from Mr Tahir

Dear All,
Our Connecting Classrooms project is going fantastically well this week. We are very happy to have Mr Tahir from Ayat Grammar School with us this week. He has been in the classes working with pupils and telling them all about his school in Pakistan. The children have been writing letters and sending work between the schools. This is a great opportunity for us all to learn about education in other countries. Thank you to all of you who came to meet Mr Tahir yesterday morning. He says he has been made to feel very welcome by the whole Cabot School Community.
