BBC Gardening Visit

Miss Heppner and Mrs Green took our School Councillors to the BBC again this morning to carry on with our project to develop their garden area.  As always, the children worked very hard and got stuck in with digging and watering.  Sorry about the muddy jumpers!

Mr Tahir and Miss Amna's visit

We are very pleased to welcome back Mr Tahir from out partner school in Lahore.  This time he Miss Amina who also works at Ayat Grammar School visited us too.  Thank you to all the parents who came to say hello this morning. Mr Tahir and Miss Amna have been working with pupils across the school.  We are really pleased this partnership is continuing and going strong in its third year.

School Guide rating

Dear Parents,

It was very pleasing to read in the Bristol Post this week that Cabot has been rated as the 5th best school in Bristol, according to a website called The School Guide.  It is always pleasing to see Cabot in positive news stories.  I am sure you feel as proud about this judgement as we are.

Mr Burton

Trip Advisor style guide to Bristol primary and secondary schools - do you agree?

By The Bristol Post  |  Posted: June 02, 2015

What do you think about the Trip Advisor style site?

A Trip Advisor style guide to schools has listed the top 20 primary and secondary school is Bristol but do you agree?
School Guide was set up by frustrated parents who were angered by the lack of real information about schools.
Parents can see statistics including how the school fares in terms of GCSE and A-Level results, inspection reports and what fees are in applicable.
But critics of the site said the system allowed parents with a grudge to unfairly damage the reputation of good schools or even staff.
However the site responded by saying it vetted comments.

KS2 Sports Day

Thank you Miss Huish for organising our best Sports Day ever.  The children have loved competing in all the events. I know the staff have really enjoyed it too!  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the Teachers vs LSA but I am quite sure the Teachers' team won....
