Free Parenting Seminars funded by CANparent

Are taking place at Abbeywood Community School on   Sunday 1^st February – Open to all parents and carers. All Parents who attend a seminar get a free £10 Cabot Circus Voucher.

9.00 – 9.45: Positive Parenting

·         Ensuring a safe engaging environment

·         Creating a positive learning environment

·         Using assertive discipline

·         Having reasonable expectations

·         Looking after yourself as a parent

10.00 – 10.45: Raising confident and competent children

·         Showing respect to others

·         Becoming independent

 

11.00 – 11.45: Raising resilient children

·         Recognising and accepting feelings

·        Expressing feelings appropriately

·         Building a positive outlook.

·         Developing coping skills

·         Dealing with negative feelings
