I was very pleased to see some very enthusiastic reading by two of our Year 6 pupils this morning. Carlton and Haruun have been very inspired by their learning about wildlife. I am looking forward to seeing their factual report writing about Peregrine Falcons and their other favourite animals.

Hi there. I'm Simon Bell and it's my job to make wildlife television programmes for the BBC. I live in Bristol, so it's really exciting to see Year 6 pupils like Carlton and Haruun reading about the natural world. Mr Burton tells me you've also been writing some factual blogs which I look forward to reading. There may be an opportunity for me to come into the school to discover more about what you've been learning and also to tell you a little more about what being a television producer of wildlife programmes involves.
