Women's Jogging Group

Dear Parents,

I have been contacted by Hayley Coggins from Bristol Health Trainers. She is trying to set up a women only jogging group. Please see the details below if you are interested in joining.

Also, the Bristol 10k is approaching fast. As ever, we will be entering a Cabot team. We will tell you more about who will be running and for what charity very soon. If any parents are interested in joining us on the day, either running or supporting, please let me know. We will be planning some training dates very soon and would love some parents to join with us.

Best Wishes

Mr Burton

Just Jog Women’s only couch to 5k running course
Would you like to be part of a Women’s only jogging group for complete beginners that starts at Cabot Primary School Gates?
The Couch to 5K plan is designed to get you off the couch and gradually work you                                                    up to running 5K or for half an hour, in just nine weeks.
We need a minimum of 6 Women to sign up to this free 9 week course, where you will get all the support you need from friendly and experienced run leaders who will help you to gradually build up your fitness
The programme is for people who are new to running (complete beginners). You don't need to worry about your fitness level or whether they can keep up with the group
Did you know that regular running can help reduce the risk of chronic illnesses such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and stroke, boost your mood and keep your weight under control?
Course Details: Starting from Cabot School Gates at 9am                                                                              Every Thursday between April 24th and June 26th                                                                                                                       Plus a 5k park run on Saturday 28th June

Mums with buggies more than welcome so… what’s stopping you? Sign up on the form below and make a healthy start to the summer
